Terms of Service
Simple terms for a simple service.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Salutare, including the website, API, and the Slack integration (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description
Salutare provides a daily greeting in different languages via a public API and optional Slack command integration. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis.

2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting to disrupt the Service, circumvent rate limits, abuse endpoints, or use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party policies (including Slack’s policies).

3. Availability and Changes
The Service may be modified, rate-limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. We may also change these Terms; continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

4. No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of the Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

6. Third-Party Services
The Slack integration depends on Slack Technologies, LLC. Your use of Slack is governed by Slack’s own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
